Splash Math is the most comprehensive math app on the appstore. The content is organised by Chapters, Skills and three difficulty levels namely Easy, Medium & Hard.

There are two ways to move from one level to another:

1. Auto Mode
2. Manual Mode

Auto Mode (Default)
Splash Math uses an adaptive learning algorithm to guage the level of the player and present a question appropriate to the current understanding of the player. As the player answers questions, the difficulty level is increased automatically from Easy to Medium to Hard.

1. Good Player     - If the player has good accuracy, then the level of the kid progresses very quickly.
2. Average Player - If the player has low accuracy, the kid is prompted to achieve a minimum accuracy level before he is progressed to the next level.

Manual Mode
Splash Math provides a method for Teachers and Parents to manually set the level of the player. This is useful in cases when Teachers or Parents have adequate confidence on the understanding level of the kid and wish to provide a specific level of practice only.

Steps to manually set levels:
  1. Open "Splash Math" app on the iPad and go to the "HomeScreen"
  2. Click on "Parent" button on the bottom left of the "HomeScreen".
  3. Click on "Settings" tab
  4. Turn OFF "Lock Levels" (ON => OFF)

This will allow you to manual change levels in Settings of both Play and Practice.
