Splash Math provides two modes of use:
  1. Play Mode
  2. Practice Mode

PLAY MODE
The Play Mode provides a continuous math quiz that is played in sessions. The player answers questions across three difficulty levels, in one or more chapters. The difficulty of the question matches the level of the player. Difficult questions appear only if the player gets easier ones right. If the player is stuck, while playing a topic, he/she will be offered to go to Practice mode to strengthen the specific topic.

The key features of the Play Mode are:
  • Review/Test of multiple chapters
  • Adaptive learning algorithm - The difficulty level increases based on performance
  • Automatically suggests switch to Practice Mode if performance is not good
  • Pit-stops after every 10 questions (configurable) to provide appropriate break to the child
  • Settings to put chapters ON and OFF based on the teacher/parent's requirements
  • Earn points to earn prizes
  • Power-up mode - Earn points twice as fast

PRACTICE MODE
The Practice mode allows players to selectively practice specific skills in each chapter. This mode aims at targeting specific problem areas of the player or providing comprehensive practice on a skill before a test.

The key features of the Practice Mode are:
  • Practice individual skills
  • Adaptive learning algorithm - The difficulty level increases based on performance
  • Pit-stops after every 10 questions (configurable) to provide appropriate break to the child
